Taz Vans as an idea was originally born in 2020 after Shaun realised he couldn't find anywhere to buy the campervan he actually wanted.

 

Shaun has a passion for good-looking cars with a build quality to match (just mention his Maserati Gran-Turismo and he'll have you talking for hours!) so it was really important to him that his campervan would have these extra touches and finishing details.

  Shaun also has a passion for making life comfortable and keeping things simple when touring so he was looking out for vans with high practical credentials - just think decent heaters, power inverters that would support a whole family of electrical connections off-grid or air conditioning in the passenger cabin.

 

When he realised how hard it was to find this combination it sparked off a thought, one that even the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns and restrictions has done little to dampen. Shaun is an experienced mechanic and property renovator with an eye for perfection and detail, and he also doesn't believe in having any limits to his achievements! 

 

His combined skills and passion for creating top-end & practical VW Campervans are going to be a fantastic addition to the VW conversion landscape.
